Our Cattle

American
Angus

Angus is the most popular cattle breed in the United States, and for good reason. The preferred beef of consumers, the name Angus alone can generate a 10-15% higher price in stores. Angus cattle are naturally polled, easy calving and fast growing, with a pleasant disposition and hardy resistance to sickness.

The American Angus Association is the world's leading breeder's association.  The AAA genetic database of angus cattle is unparalleled in the industry, taking the guesswork out of raising consistent quality livestock.

Our Act II Angus cattle are bred for docility and easy calving, and include in their pedigrees some of the nation's top angus breeders like 44 Farms, Connealy Angus, Gardiner Angus Ranch, and Express Angus Ranch.

American
Aberdeen

Aberdeens are the smaller cousins to angus, and as the name implies, harken back to your grandfather's Aberdeen angus cattle. They are about 60% of the size of angus cattle, with shorter legs and a generally stockier build, bearing similarities in conformation to angus cattle in black and white photos of generations past.

Aberdeens are NOT miniature cattle, which often capitalize on a dwarfism gene-a genetic defect-to achieve smaller size. They are 100% angus genetics, selectively bred to produce smaller, more feed efficient cattle.

Aberdeens are naturally docile, ultra-easy calving, finish well on grass, are easy on your land and your feed budget, and still produce outsized ribeye relative to carcass weight.
